Business Process Engineer is required for a Tier 1 Investment Bank based in London. This role works sits in Investment Banking operations and is cross products. A major part of the role is to have someone come in and streamline the IB processes from Manual to Automated. You will be responsible to drive process transformation projects through streamlining, simplification, standardization and automation of the Operational processes across products and geographies within Investment Banking and Cross Products Business Units

Responsibilities:

Evaluate current state business processes using Lean methods and process analytics to identify opportunities for simplification, standardization, and digital automation by facilitating cross-functional workshops focused on process optimization and digital automation
Design E2E target state processes and implementation roadmaps that integrate strategic objectives for operations (Target Operating Model), technology, business, and product management teams
Work with Operations, Technology, Business, and Risk partners in redesigning processes and defining digital automation solutions along with business case and Agile delivery plans
Experience:

Change experience in IB Ops is a must
Investment Banking experience – Knowledge of Trade Life cycle, IB products and services. Prior experience in management consulting firm preferred
Experience of managing cross-functional stakeholders to gather information and drive decisions. Ability to conduct a detailed assessment across the E-2-E process by leveraging process re-engineering principles & tools and recommend solutions as appropriate across people, process, technology, and governance
Work along with Operations teams to effectively document business processes/challenges, perform data analysis to identify root cause, recommend solutions and document target state processes. Comfortable working across different regions, cultures, and time zones
An excellent manager of partnerships and able to overcome resistance and ensure timely delivery as per the project plan. Demonstrable experience in designing and driving improvements
Understanding of Digital Process Automation capability and appropriate suitability to a given business area (Workflow Management, Robotics Process Automation and Artificial Intelligence.
